Founder of Black Girls of Texas
Karlyn "KMo" Morrison is the visionary behind Black Girls of Texas, a thriving virtual and in-person community for Black women across the state, with its base in Dallas. What began as Black Girls of Dallas in 2018, a small group designed for local meetups, quickly grew into a statewide movement. By 2020, the platform experienced a surge in engagement, solidifying itself as a space for sisterhood, empowerment, and shared experiences among Black women. Black Girls of Texas continues to foster connections, offering support and encouragement for women seeking community and inspiration.

Saria Hawkins-Banda
CEO of Manifest Your Purpose & You Glow Girl Events
Saria Hawkins-Banda is an entrepreneur, speaker, and content creator dedicated to empowering Black women through her brands. As the founder of Manifest Your Purpose, she creates office accessories, decor, and planning tools that reflect the beauty and multidimensionality of Black women. Her goal is to ensure that Black female professionals and entrepreneurs see themselves in the products they use daily.
Through her event platform, You Glow Girl Events, she curates spaces for women to connect, grow, and be inspired.

Bree Iman Clarke
Founder of The Plant Project
Bree Iman Clarke is a plant and floral expert, TEDx speaker, and the founder of The Plant Project, the first Black woman-owned botanical boutique in Texas. The Plant Project is more than a shop—it’s a community space fostering meaningful conversations on race, culture, and inclusivity. Bree and her husband, Carlos, also run The Iman Project, a lifestyle brand that encompasses The Little House Project Studio in Dallas, where she hosts workshops, and Bree Blooms, a flower arrangement service. Her work has been recognized in collaborations with Chip and Joanna Gaines, among others, making her a leading figure in botanical entrepreneurship and community building.
